8 Feb – Hong Kong filmmaker Wong Jing has recently denied reports that he has been dating 24-year-old Chinese actress Yun Qianqian. As reported on Sina, the filmmaker, who is known for his films like "God of Gamblers" and "From Vegas to Macau", recently sparked rumours that he was cheating on his wife when he was photographed having dinner with a woman resembling the said actress in Beijing. The two was also alleged to have entered an apartment building together after diner. In a statement posted on Weibo, Wong stated that he found it funny that the media think that an old man like him would be blessed to be accompanied by a beautiful woman. Wong said that the photo of them together was actually taken while they were dining in a Korean restaurant. However, he claimed that the photo was heavily edited to make it seem like they were closer than they actually were. Stressing that he understands that the paparazzi needs to make money as well, Wong stated he would still be taking legal action against his slanderers. "I would usually let it go in the past, but this time, I decided not to tolerate such behaviours anymore," he said, adding that he felt sorry for the young actress for being dragged into the mud with him.
