Every other Windows is the good one right?

XP was good. Vista bad. 7 was good. 8 was good, but not much upgrade.

    Here's a summary article

Return of classic desktop and Start Menu (fuck yea..!)

Oh good, I like it when I can hold out until the better widows OS comes out. I never had to deal with Vista. Went from XP straight into 7 and so far have been able to hold out for 8.

when is windows 10 coming out? Still on windows 7 here.

  8. Software and hardware goes hand in hand and side by side. New system will slow our machine down, slow machine means changing to new one again. This will not stop.

Too true it's how to push new hardware out, future means out with the old in order to step forward. My first PC was an AST 512Mhz (if I remember) with 256MB ram on Win 95 (blue crash screen everyday nightmare)-sick2 considered state of the art then (Wow)-doh. Now jumping over 4 System (Win 95, 98 and a millenium edition, XP, Vista, 7 and 8) I now use a laptoop instead thats more than 10X powerful.

Win 10 looks promising, some thing for everyone, on features. Thought they said it would come out this year.

I think it means you have 1 year to claim your free copy. But we all know where to get it afterwards.. :kevin:

Does anyone know if it supports a multi-taskbar for duo-screen? I'm using Display Fusion right now..so it probably won't support windows 10 I suppose.

ah okay, I hope that's what she meant.

you can get legit copies of window for pretty cheap these days (10-15 dollars) from reddit sellers. /r/microsoftsoftwareswap/

Wow. So essentially.. you download an ISO. You either burn it onto a DVD to install it form scratch or you upgrade from whatever OS you have.

Then you buy a key from them, and you activate it.

yep, i got windows 8 and ms office through there. cost about 30 dollars. You dont have to burn it either, I mounted it virtually and upgraded from w7. You might need to burn it if you plan on formatting, not sure tho.
