Why eating noodles for birthday?

    i don't do that in my family but yeah i heard that it's a symbol of longevity.

    i have never heard of eating noodles, but the explanation about longevity does sound good. think that could be right.

    I think people do eat noodles during their b'day.
    Especially those old generation in china and hong kong.
    Just my opinion though ...

    lol umm never heard of that tradition o_O i would be very sad if i had to eat 2minute noodles for my birthday.. must have big feast =))

    i knoe about the noodle thing but my family usually follow that tradition on moon festival and new years. its suppose to mean live a long life because of the type of noodle and fat choi, the black moss = money luck. i think so anyway.

    i think the longevity noodles is meant for new years. never did it for birthdays before.
