Isn't there this thing called existentialism? The purpose of one's life depends on how one views the purpose is. So everyone has a different purpose in life depending on how they regard their goals to be. My goal is to be happy and be successful in everything I do.
@MDD: Yes, there's the existentialism, a "theory" in the metaphysics discipline of philosophy. However, the definition you gave for existentialism "the purpose of one's life depends on how one views the purpose" is kind of skewed... Yes it does entail PARTS of the existentialist thinking, but existentialism is more towards "existence comes before essence/meaning"... Anyways @_@b
