Who thinks its the cgi and non-real action that is ruining the series?

The moment TVB uses any far-fetched. CG in a spectacular story, it's going to go down HILL !

Even w/ ONISAC ! That series was so fake ! In a way..

 

I agree that the CGI is a bit over the top, buuuuuuuuuuuuuut ....

given that the actors are probably not trickshot players ... they need to use CGI otherwise every snooker "battle" scene will take place from above where they use footage from actual snooker games - but I think that would just make it worse -what?

 

a tv series about snooker? seems so boring. However the jap anime does it well with sport based stories. Eg, Prince of tennis etc etc, however you cant really bullshit in a live action show without using cgi.

You know whats the worst CGI i ever seen recently? the Legend of the Demi Gods! omg that show was soo cheap.

 

cgi is needed but too much in this series and look not real at all

 

storyline is alright, nothing bad or amazing.

 

TVB's cgi effects are always lame. Still remember Legend of the Demigods?

 

if tvb were to use actual trickshot snooker players in their production... woahhhhh that's gnna cost them heaps!!! yeah that trick shot on ep5 was sooo fake... but what can u say... cgi is the only way to cut down their cost ==... but the series good or bad, that jst depends on urself... im enjoying this series =]

lol, chapter 12 is the most unbelievable snooker shots so far.

I think the CGI is pretty good for a Tv series. There are worst out there.

 

I agree with too many CGI shots is just making it a bit unrealistic. I do like watching the trick shots which are staged live, truly amazing

 

Well I didn't have much high expectation to begin with for this series considering it's a TVB drama so I don't think it's too bad, although the plotline is kind of weak.

 

personally i would've like more actual SNOOKER in this show supposedly about snooker... i'd like to see more real shots as well instead of the cgi with the dragons and tigers running along the felt

 

yeah... those flame, smoke, tiger, dragon..... man.... makes it a kid series.... if they really want to promote real snooker, atleast do it the real way...
