fuck proactive!! & u actually used it for half yr lol, the benzoyl peroxide dries ur face a lot, too much benzoyl peroxide just no good. i totally quit after a week, same w/ loreal's 'special' acne line

the best acne killer imo is something starts w/ an E i forgot the name...only from doctors xD it dries ur skin too, but it targets ur area so it dries ur annoying pimple & it will die :D

I just found this thread to be a bit funny in all the care and focus that people put into the cleansing of their face. I mean, what's all the fuss? I usually use dish washing detergent to wash my face in the kitchen. It cuts the grease in both my hands and face, and gets rid of all the dirt. Pores? What the heck are those? My face is clean and that's all I care about. It even has a lemony scent afterwards that's better than aftershave.

    try dermalogica its not bad

  13. I'm a guy and for my daily facial wash I use a Dettol brand soap bar, and once or twice a week I use a Nivea men's scrub.

This works for me, cuz before I had terrible acne, that was filled with ...well you know, it was pretty bad. Now, my acne is gone, but I'm not sure if it just cuz my hormone's gone.

If your acne is not too severe, it's best to use a gentle cleanser. I've found that overzealous cleaning often worsens your skin. I currently use a foaming cleanser by Dermaglow.

sadly i've passed the age of acne...lol
but my face is a combination of dryness, oilyness and pores which is even more of a dread!
Currently using biotherm for normal/combo skin types...i think biotherm also has a line of products for acne too.

Hydroviton CR which is a medicated cleanser that contains organic micro-spheres that penetrate to the deepest layers of the skin to deeply moisturise, while at the same time removing toxins, bacteria, and regulating sebum production.
