Strange its seems to be ok on my side, have you tried re-installing/re- downloading JD?? Another option that I can think of would be to get rid of JD-unrar altogether, delete files from ..../tools/windows/unrarw32 (or the windows folder in tools) and in ..../plugins then delete "JDUnrar". It seems to be running ok for me when I did this but this may cause crashes with further use. If you still need help go to the JD forums as this seems strange (bug?) or use another program like cryptload
wait, in the future is all the download links in here going to be encrypted by .dlc format? We should make a poll for this thread; if by any chance people like this new method, i guess we should all abide to the new method. However, if people still want the old method can we just forget about this intricate installation? usually my parents are the ones that download chinese drama so this new method probably and most indefinitely going be some challenge for them to comprehend
what's the purpose of going through all this? to prevent ppl from getting direct links and reporting them? resulting in deletion?
I'll give it a test. I am all for anything that keep a link working and taking the trouble out of needing others to reupload!! =)
Just be grateful someone is spending time and effort to simplify new DL method. I for have no problem with this method. Thank you 小小 very much.
No offense, but I think you're missing the point. If a show is new and you're getting episodes on a day by day basis, then this really doesn't help you. However, if you just happen to find an already completed series that you want to DDL (and not torrent) then this thing is a godsend. You don't have to baby sit through 20 episodes of downloading as most of the free hosting sites only allow one DL at a time. This thing automatically queues the entire series and will download each episode sequentially until you have the entire series (without you having to click on one individual link per episode). So, in essence, this program is designed to save efforts, and not waste them. Alternatively of course, you can choose to torrent the thing, which would probably take a lot longer. It's a well thought out program, and if used properly, can add to the arsenal of tools that downloaders have to deal with these free hosting site restrictions. But yes, you do have to be able and willing to read. I'm waiting for the "I don't care how you do it, but just show up in my computer" link button
A friend recommended this and it looked great, but I couldn't get it to work with the massive amounts of mediafire links I have. EDIT: Never mind that, the .6 ver works great with mediafire
Finally made the effort to update to the new version ^o^ Also its like 5.30am over here and I most probably screwed up somewhere and included the spoiler tags to clean up the post a bit but they don't seem to be working for me. Can't be arsed to figure out why or fixing it now as sleep comes first =p so if it doesn't work for anybody else post here and I shall fix sometime.
Do you mean two sets of links? Or 2 downloads at a time? If its the second, then all you need to do is set max dls at the bottom to 2 or more. However, the number of connections are also limited to the file host and its policies.
Best program ever? I just finished downloading 3 movies last night when I went to bed from rapidshare, megaupload. One had .dlc file, the other two just had links I just queued them. I didn't have to wait every hour and click the link. I used to NEVER dl anything that is splitted into 1000 files now I do
Suggestion to the OP; your original thread is now stating: "**UPDATED TO THE NEW VERSION**" ...which sounds great. But which version is that? It sorta reminds me of some links that I click on for a wonderful story on a new fantastic new feature, dated SEPTEMBER 19TH... only to find out later as I read it, Sep 19th, of 1954. LOL... Your title may be a lot more informative if it simply stated the version number and date of release. At any rate, kudos and job well done. You're doing a great public service in getting this little jewel into the hands of media fans. We're all in your debt. :jump:
I download JDownloader and clicked on the exe file. When I thought I was done, it said it the add-on can't be installed to Firefox 3.5.3. Any new updates? Thanks.
Hmm..there is a new version of jDownloader 0.9421 That one should work fine combined with the FireFox 3.5.3. If the add-on still gives you error, just tick it off instead XD (which I did ) 1) Download the latest jDownloader 2) Double-click on jDownloader.exe 3) Follow the instructions step-by-step 4) Finished all steps and starts jDownloader 5) Now your ready! Download a *.dlc and double-click it too let it start loading (links must shows green/online) 6) Click CONTINUE too start the batch of downloads PS. Suggest to fink of the automatic updates in options/preferences ;]
Thanks. I download the new version and it works, but it's downloading one file at a time. I thought it was suppose to download all file at the same time.
Yes it does download all-at-once for premium users =P For non-premium just one by one... Honestly don't think any premium user would try or gonna dl all eps at once..since it would slower down the downloads. IME 3 or 4 eps at a time is the best, reckon they want to watch it asap while dl the remaining eps ;] Ps. At least got rid of the CAPTCHA's, waiting time, download limits and going through each eps everytime XD Now it's just one-click on the *.dlc, save it. Open it with jDownloader and let the download start! DLC is still 'all-at-once'
