I think i watched it on cable before, discovery channel or something. at that time, our calendar has not been made yet. But think about it, a lot of people who celebrate xmas doesn't really celebrate DOB of jesus but the joy of being with your family/relatives on that ocassion. Plus the joy of having to party.
I'm not religious, so i agree with those who say it is a marketing gimmick design to make money. But more importantly it's week off work.
