Just finished Philip Pullman's <His Dark Material>, a trilogy titled <The Golden Compass (Original UK title The Northern Lights>, <The Subtle Knife> and <The Amber Spyglass>. It was love, so well written.
I like the detective books like Sherlock Holmes...and any books that from Conan Doyle & Agatha Christie ( i don't really remember her name). I also like science books, and I hate the romantic fictions the most.
I LOVE Agatha Christie! My favourite is the Poirot series, he is SO intelligent, like Sherlock Holmes without the dark side (and yes, I am talking about the 7% solution). And who can NOT love <And then there were none>? Such perfect crime, and the narration is suspenseful and dramatic. Though I personally think that the majority of them deserve to die -- and the death of Vera was SO righteous I feel bad for feeling happy for her suffering.
Out of the three Robert Langdon "adventure" I've read, I like deception point the best, though I must say the Da Vinci Code was the most visual -- I can just picture many of the scenes.
