fai stop being gay, so how much proteins does rice add? like does rice make me fat, say how much rice would it take to eat to be the same as eating a hamburger
you dont' wanna use rice as a protein source... you'd have to eat like alot man... your lookat 6gs per say 1/3 of a cup of rice..and that's like the whole wheat.. the white asian rice is probably 4g? i haven't payed much attention to rice. because i barely eat it. rice is consider a complex carb.. so you would wanna use it as energy source for your daily routine.. if you are trying to gain masss( that's fat). in general. then yea.. rice would be a option.. but if you trying to lose weight..rice is bad option....atleast not alot.. Rice it self isn't fat.. but however if you can't use up all the rice (energy source ) that day.. it 's stored uip... so if you eat rice at nite.. and you don't use it up...cuz your activity lvl is low.. then obviously it woul dbe turned into fat.... so hence if you looking to maintain weight or loose this is a the general eating plan to eat at.. even if you have to eat those bad foods morning..higher carbs.. lower protein.. low fat. afternoon...moderate carb... moderate proein .. low fat night... low carbs...more protein.. low fat remember your body isn't use to digesting protein and carb or fats at the same time.. try to keep your carb meals seperate from your protein meals.. depending on the serving size.. a average serving teaks 1.5 to 2 hours to digest.. I hope that helps. Gl with the weight loss
I personally find it hard to stick to a diet, but then again if you just watch what you eat and exercise more often--it'll mostl likely do the trick (at least for the short term). Cut the oily foods and junk food as much as possible!
that's why it's not realli a diet... first tip is...say you crave for a food from ascale one to 10.. you evaluate how badly you want that food if it's a 9.. then you can wait for another day before you can satisfy that craving... if it's a 10 then you go and get yourself that food you want.. then you craving is down to probabl 4 again...you hold it off as much as you can ...and then you let in your vacation day.. so say.. you might have 5 good days of good eating.. and you can slack it off on the weekend.... this is just a theory that will work if you a certain food is your favourite and something you must have.. 2. and aagain. the time of the day you have th efood is crucial..if you want icecream.. or chips eat it earlier in the day if possible. 3. i dont' kno i've talked about this factor..but look at it this way...when you first start off.. dont' remove anything from your energy sources.. continue wha tyour doing.. but add good foods to your engery course.. say you normalli eat like bbq buns and dim sum every morning....then keep doing it.. and start adding say a an apple or oatmeal......but you come to think about it.. you can't eat all of that... so you can start taking away certain foods for each meal.. (and it would be the bad foods you wanna take away...) so ultimately you only have the foods that wil bring the maximum health benefits to your life.. Keep working at it.. our bodies are all machines in working progress =P
haha...peter.. it's actualli a pretti good work out....don't undesrestimate it... it's good for toning and endurance actualli pilates it a good workout for your core. all and all it's basicalli a series of workouts put together.. to keep the heart rate going.. so it's effective because it's a cardio and a toning and endurance workout... Pilates focuses on low weight dumbbells and feel body exericses so you don' get buff from it.
I remember one of my coach telling me to eat smaller meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and eat some snack or fruit in every 2 hour or so in between those 3 meal. And it's bad not to eat because of the salt stored in the kidney will contribute to fat when you don't eat because that's where your body will look for energy..
I am a university student studying nutrition to become a dietitian, and I can honestly tell you that no quick and easy diet is going to help you loose the weight and keep it off. The best way is to change your lifestyle. I don't know how physically active you are but you could try increasing your physical activity and also choosing a VARIETY of foods. Don't let people tell you to cut out certain foods, it's not the healthy way and even if you lost the weight, it will evetually come back. That is not to say you should eat fast food or indulge in sweets everyday if you excercise, but you can still enjoy those foods occasionally if you make the proper lifestyle changes. They key to loosing weight PERMANENTLY is to take it one step at a time and to burn more than you consume (what you eat). If you can, the best thing you could do is visit a dietitian or even speak with a knowledgable doctor regarding your concerns. Hope this helps.
I agree with Karmy. I don't think there is any way to lose weight really fast if you don;t exercice and just cut off some foods. It'll all come back at you. You have to stop and think and see how (much ) you eat. I have a friend, she's really skinny and she said she drinks lots of soda. It's true she drinks maybe a can every day, but she also eat a meal everyday, so I understand she cannot gain weight. I can't go to work or school without eating my breakfeast, while some people only eat at dinner, so it'll all depend on you. I also have a sweet teeth. Sometimes, if I don't eat dessert, I feel like I didn't have a real meal. With that I know that cutting all sweets from my diet is gonna be impossible. I just have to find other ways to eat less, like maybe have a chocolate but also more vegetables etc... Well the point is that you have to know how you eat and if you really need help , seek the help of a doctor as karmi said.
doctors can't realli give you what you realli want they are more focused on finding diagnoses for disease and i dentifying .. they can give you tips and all. but what you need is someone that can tell you how much calcories your eating in each day and what you can do to decreas that.. a dietitian woul dbe perfect for the job. And many dietitians got friends in the field of exercise i'm sure they can give you profesional referrals. or you can be like me take these courses yourself. become a professional yourself so you will be able to switch up your exercise lifestyles and nutrient. cuz how i feel about eating is.. variety is the key. for more information on especialli eating.. and dieting check out this website on teh course detail www.canfitpro.com hope that helps =P
Well, I was also like you too ("whoa, I'm fat" -ohmy )... and so here's some tips: I suggest losing that extra weight first by doing some moderate-high cardio about 3x a week and then cutting back on "unnecessary foods" like junk food, pop, etc. and start eating healthier options like fruits and veggies. Just cutting back that can save you as much as 300 - 500 calories a day, which will equal to about 3000 calories in a week, which is the same as ONE POUND! But don't skip meals, you don't want to fall into an eating disorder... Key thing is: just eat like before, except, forget about junk food. After you've lost that extra weight, go to a gym to build up muscle mass.... You might want to consult someone to help you make a workout plan, etc. You might notice that you will gain weight as MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT .... and that's not a bad thing -- DON'T ONLY RELY ON THE SCALE AS A MEASURE OF YOUR SUCCESS, BUT ALSO ON HOW YOU FEEL AND LOOK -cool I personally believe that for a girl, to lose weight first is important so then when you begin working out, you will see more muscle tones and definition - or in other words, you won't look like one of those butch girls, but look trim/fit Another benefit of having more muscle vs. fat is that with more muscle, you have a higher metabolism, meaning you'll burn fat faster than if you were just lean and had very little muscle. Sorry for the long post, but hope that helped! and gOOD luck!
Try cutting down on fast food such as Mc D's. if ur really desperate, cut down on carbs. It works, but....its not so healthy
