^ that's all truee~ don't quote me, but i think instead of 2, it's 4 hours you shouldn't eat before sleeping x.X
yea, I heard the same too... but I try to keep the guidelines more lax so they're easier to follow... There are a few other mistakes in there that I purposely put for simplicity sake. The more strict and complex things get, the more people tend not to do. I've been all over the spectrum when it comes to my weight. As an asian male of 5'10", I used to be ~130 (underweight) exploded to over 190 (overweight) and now I'm ~160 (average) mainly by following the aforementioned guidelines. Results vary from person to person. I lost weight... but when I taught the same to my friend, little changed... but he did feel more energetic and better overall...

I know it's been said a million times, and perhaps you may think that it's just an excuse, but believe me, weight doesn't really play such an important on your body, particularly if you start exercising. I'm actually around the same height as you (5 ft 6 inches to be exact) and I weigh around 53kg. Sometimes my weight can fluctuate anywhere from 1 to 2 kgs in just one day, particularly if I know I've had a lot of water that day, or just that time of the month. But even though I'm on this weight, a lot of people say I actually look like I weigh less 50kg. I exercise 5 times a week, but only doing kickboxing and dancing videos, plus occasional outdoor activities which I enjoy (most important thing when exercising). Loosing fat (rather than weight) is a timely matter - think about it, if it takes you longer to loose the fat but keep it off, even if you put it back on, it will take longer as well. Things always have both sides you know. And, teach yourself to not judge and live your life governed by the scales. Trust your own institution of how you think your body is. After all, weight is just a number - if you are fit, skinny and healthy, who cares a shit what you weigh? It's how you look. Good luck!
