Unlocking Iphone

its very much the design which are pulling ppl in i guess lol. but then again just have a normal mobile and get the ipod touch instead. much cheaper alternative.

 

wind2000 can i update the iphone to v 1.1.4 den unlock it?-huh
or do i have to unlock it den update it first??

 

u update the phone first and then unlock it. once the phone is unlocked if u update it via itunes, the phone will just get locked again.

ok now i updated it but wen i tune it on it shows me a picture of da cable and the itunes logo..
i think i have to active it from O2 but not sure wot to do can anyone give me some advice plz?

 

hey wind...form reading your post this software works even with that weird antenna update thing that apple did that caused the anysim 1.2 to not work with certain versions? And just to confirm no need to jailbreak first ya?

i only manage to update it and thats it..

 

well if u've updated it then u should be able to activate it. u using the orginal o2 sim that was activated with the iphone?

 

Update then use the latest ziphone software (v2.5) and press "do all". So need to jaiilbreak or anything like that as that "do all" option unlock/ jailbreak/ activate at the same time. NOTE that ziphone only works up to version 1.1.4 ONLY.

Now, all you need to do is shut itunes down, open up ziphone software and press "do it" all WITHOUT sim card. When thats done, insert your sim and you good to use the phone and you wont need to activate no more with itunes.

 

i lost the sim that came with the iphone but yea i use the ziphone method, but thanks for replying...

how to put games into the iphone and does anyone know how to make the

@bbes too bad in the US this is how the damn cell phone companies can lock you into their service unlike cell phone companies around the world

 

they do it in the uk also but only was payg usually. but ye its annoying and shouldn't rele be done though i guess u can always unlock it.
