Tony Leung Rumored to Have Real Sex on "Lust, Caution"

In Director Ang Lee's "Lust, Caution" 《色，戒》, Tony Leung Chiu Wai was rumored to have had real sex with co-star,Tang Wei, in their love scenes.

Tony's girlfriend, Carina Lau Ka Ling praised Tony's performance in "Lust, Caution." Responding to rumors that Tony had "real sex," Carina believed that due to the presence of a production crew and numerous out-takes, it was difficult for Tony to "enjoy" the sex scenes.

Allegedly, Tony was in a foul mood after filming "Lust, Caution." This was due to his inability to extricate himself from his character.

However, in an interview with the British media, Tony assumed a different position and said he greatly enjoyed the filming of "Lust, Caution." He also said that the love scenes were necessary.

In the past, Tony often portrayed good-looking, yet flawed characters. His role in "Lust, Caution" was a departure from his past characters. He felt extremely fortunate in working with renown Director, Ang Lee. To prepare for his role, Tony studied the performances of Hollywood actors such as Humphrey Bogart and Marlon Brando.

Tony noted that his love scenes in "Lust, Caution" were the most sexually graphic performance in his career. During the filming, Ang Lee, Tang Wei, and Tony discussed and practiced the scenes thoroughly. This understanding benefited the actual filming in order to achieve the proper camera angles.

In an earlier online Taiwanese poll, Tony was voted as "The Most Sympathized Lover." This was due to the fact that Carina Lau had high profile rumors with tycoon, Kwok Toi Ming. Thus many netizens sympathized with Tony.
