It was never concrete and it was a continuous drag. This is pathetic and had no plot, no true story. Sad. Waste of cast.
It didn't take the wrong turn, it was boring and without a plot throughout. I watched up to episode 25 or so and I stopped, of those episodes, I had to skip through most of it. It's sad that this is the "40th anniversary series" because it's complete trash. I'm gonna limit myself from watching TVB series to 1 per year max (I usually watch 2 or sometimes even 3 series a year). Such garbage is not worth my time anymore.

Pretty true, waited for a climax, didnt seem to come after 50ish chapters, now mostly just waiting to c wat happens at the end
from about ep 54 onwards, its pretty good, especially 57 and 58. most of the eps b4 50 were pretty boring with the occasional good ep
