The "Nguyen" question

if i was vietnamese i know my name would be nyugen... its just statistics

 

My last name is nguyen..=P and its about 57 % vietnamese in vietnam with that last name^_^ if guys wonder

 

I say I know about 15 of them. Nguyen is a popular surname in viet so I am not surprise at all.

 

holy woah 40% are Nguyen no wonder eheh

 

well since im viet myself..........i no about 100+ "nguyen" peeps

 

um...i'm viet so i know more than i can ever count with ten fingers and ten toes and 2 arms and 2 legs....etc.

 

Haha now that you tell me to count...its actually quite alot lol. I never really thought about it because i hardly call them by their last name lol. - 16 for me lol

 

guess another nguyen has popped in on this thread

 

almost all of my Vietnamese friends have that last name....crazy

 

The ngueyn dynasty was the last dynasty so obviousley alot of ppl would have the sirname nguyen

Yeah but not all Nguyen are original Nguyen, in ancient history some had to change their names of
Tran and Le before the new dynasty would kill a lot of people - read Vietnamese history
