Hey I need some info about this school in Melbourne.

    http://www.rmit.edu.au/browse/Our Organisation/Business/Academic Programs/Postgraduate Studies/MBA/

The MBA/MSc. Commerce program looks really appealing to me and I'm curious if anyone goes to this school or knows much about it. Is it ranked ok in Australia? Any personal opinions?

The international tuition is only 50 grand... which seems like a lot but is still less than one of the business schools I'm looking at in Canada, and most of the schools in the US I've been reviewing. Trying to broaden my options for MBA's, and it would be kind of cool to live in Australia for a year or two.

    Thanks guys. -bigsmile-bigsmile

I'm not doing a business/commerce degree.. so I have no idea about RMIT or any other courses/unis for that matter

    Ranking wise: http://www.australian-universities.com/rankings/

I think as an international, you'll be paying around that much a year at a lot of australian uni's as the australian government doesn't subsidise your fees.

  10. Didn't study there either but most of the people I know that have had anything to do with RMIT is through correspondence courses. RMIT seem to do a lot of courses in conjunction with businesses who will offer to pay for said courses for their employees.

Personal opinion, and PERSONAL only... don't like it. Seems to focus on the cash coming via corporate agreements or from International students only.

International rates seem about right there though cos it's nearly 2-3 times the cost of what locals pay here for the same course.

Probably makes more sense to look into the University of Melbourne then.

Thanks for the list of schools!

    no problems ! :)

personally.. if you want to go to a better uni, look at the courses offered by the Go8 uni's. which are like.. our 8 top ranked uni's. meblbourne uni, sydney uni, anu, unsw, university qld, university south australia etc.

mba wise, i'd probably say AGSM or MGSM in sydney
not sure of pricing for them, but they are generally more recognised within australia
