if u straighten it everyday.. like lee-lee said.. do a permanent! last u till ur hair grows out.. go to a proffesional hair dresser.. n make sure they r using good products on u.. i did my first straightenin at this cheap place n they totally ruined my hair... so.. find the right place.. well it should... thing's i've done to my hair... i colour my hair every 6 months... its permanently straightened.. i curl it once in a while whenever i like to.. n its still all good (crossing my fingers) n i;ve been doing those processes for quite a while now.. 2 or 3 yrs now.. i know wot pinkapples mean.. the loreal kerastase nutritive. i;ve used that.. conditioner shampoo oil n all that.. it helps.. kinda.. for straighten hair.. wot i find that really helps.. try not to ever blow dry ur hair for starters.. use good conditioner... actually i m just using sunsilk now.. keratin replenish or something like that.. put it on.. leave it for a min or two.. wash it off... n do that everytime u wash ur hair.. besides that i do a hair mask every week.. i know some say oh.. u r not suppose to.. but if u want good hair.. tats wot u do... n usually after every treatment i have.. like straighten..colour.. wotever.. i do a mask every single time i wash.. for atleast the first 2 weeks.. ** conditioner n mask for just for the hair ends.. dont bother that much bout the roots..
if time is your factor, getting it permanetly done is a better choice. Consider having so much heat to straighten your hair every day would do more damage. Are you planning for the rebonding straight hair? I've seen people doing rebonding. Nice super straight and shiny.
lol trust me u dont seriously wana get it permanently straightened! i know a few peeps who did & it was gross haha
nanni?? since i straighten it everyday now...if i get it permanetly done...i wont look any different...
it will cause it looks alot dif than if u straightened it everyday its like... ermm kinda like if u see black ppl who have straight hair.. like all kinda weird lol its hard to explain, guess u gota see it for urself
Lol....its different for people some look way beta and some look weird so yeah but its worth a try...just to kill curiosity..And asian compared to black lol too big of a difference hahahah..-detect
my friend since highschool uses hair relaxers that u can buy at the drug store in her hair the stuff that is marketed for African-American children is more gentle so she uses that. her is super super fine as she is white and is a natural blonde. She likes the Dark & Lovely brand that is made for children. Steph uses this stuff 3 times a year... mostly to touch up new growth, her hair is so pretty and silky. she says that if she doesn't relax it, her hair gets frizzy in the summer and it does not dry straight. as her dad has straight hair and her mom has wavy hair, her hair is neither, it just dries kinda kinky in some spots and straight in others so she relies on the relaxers to keep her hair maintenance free. as i am asian, my hair is a bit coarser, therefore less fragile than hers would be. I've thought of letting her put the childrens relaxer in my hair but then i panicked and backed out. has anyone heard of someone asian doing this with their hair? i'm afraid to try it. I asked a friend who took hairdressing and she hasn't heard of anybody doing this other than her African-American clients. i'm afraid to ask my asian hairdresser cos i know he'd just convince me to get japanese straightening... any thoughts? any comments? any suggestions? Thanks!
Now, this is a new formulae that i've not heard of, but if it has no side effects by using those relaxants i guess you could give it a shot. It might be beta than permanent straightening for it might not hurt your hair as much as straightening but do check out on it first...just to make sure.
permanently straighten works for like a year, which is good, some others work for 2 yrs. And if you like re-straighten in b/w, which mean ur hair only needs a lil chemical cuzz u already straightened it. It is better to straighten it every morning, such a waste of time.
straightening hair everyday wud damage ...so i think gettin it permanately straightened wud b beta for ur hair in the long run n it wud save alota effort in d mornins hehe =]
since you are already straightening your hair almost everyday you would rather just straighten it once and for all so it wont damage your hair as much.
It's better 2 have it done permanently cos u save so much time! I had it done in HK, it took like 3 hrs 2 do but its worth it in the end. Straighten ur hair everyday is not good 4 ur hair cos the heat damages it.
hehe .. i only take 10 mins ! .. buut maybe yoOr hair is waaayyy longer ! . do yoO use products ?! .. coz i think i should start using it .. straightening is killing my hair making it dry ! =(
so which would damage your hair more? ... straightening it using a hair straightener or a blow dryer? also, whats that oil called how you suppose to put it on your hair before straightening your hair?
