i agree the apple thing is a ripoff or maybe a spinoff version of deathnote..... hopefully, TVB has the copyright from it.

at most its a parallel not a ripoff of Deathnote because as the Devil his greatest weapon is that very fruit. From the origin of the Devil, according to the Holy Bible, Satan tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden with the forbidden fruit of knowledge, an apple and one bite was all it took.

The apple things, Raymond is devil he can make anyone die instantly. The difference was Bobby but who know maybe he turn into bad guy like Kira.
