dam i was in HK in december and came back in january and the raptor actually won some games.. i think it is going to take another 2 years before we get any better to make it into the playoff..
Who cares, Jalen Rose is gonna be traded for someone good anyways, well maybe not considering Rob Babcock Why is Mike James also doing good?
raps should lose every game from now on to obtain the top draft pick for the summer =D at least we'll have a chance on re-building =)

smart move in moving rose... we save so much money quite weird seeing davis here after he so bad feelings wen he left last time.
Craptors are starting to come around. A few smart moves from Colangelo & TO can become contenders & not fakers. Main problem TO has is not having a legit PG. Mike "your not getting the ball" James is not the answer. If we can pick up a quality PG & let Caulderon develop along with Charlie V & Pape Sow, we can compete against the big boys any night of week.
well any1 was better than the babcock guy... and this new gm has a good track record.. he has made the phoneix suns a championship condender... i think its all hype... but he's better than babcock for sure. will just wait and see what he does in the offseason. what i dont get is why would he leave a good situation with the suns where they can possibly win a championship in the next couple years to come GM the "raptors" -what?
I think colangelo is a pretty good GM. He always found a way to make the Suns competitive. Yeah they missed the playoffs a couple of time, but they always rebound the next year. He drafted Amare and Marion, signed Nash. He also traded for Jason kidd back in the days and that sqaud was made up of shooters and swingman with no real inside presence. I think the Raptors will be decent with Colangelo as the GM. They already have some nice pieces in place like Bosh and Villinueva.
with the new GM at the helm the Raps future looks really bright... i think we'll continue building with what we have... Bosh, James, MO' Pete and CV3 and maybe a vertan point guard we'll be a competitive team next year...
I dont know about competing with ANY of the big boys...You still need a decent big man to help out Bosh in the block as CV is taking his game outside. Dont make the mistake of overpaying James either...
Mike James isn't that bad of a player... I think he's quite a surprise to the Raps this season =) But like jedi said, they shouldn't make the mistake of overpaying James after his breakout season.
even if we get a good pick in the draft, the draft picks this year is weak. the raptors werent that bad this year (even tho they are like the 5-6 worst team in the league), they had a horrible start, they lsot alot of close games, and cant win in overtime. waht they need is a defensive player. raptors defense is horrible. hopefully colangelo can work his magic and get a good center. oh and i like mike james, even though most ppl hate him cuz he isnt a true pg, but he's a scorer and his passion is there.
i think we shouldnt sign james and save our money to get a true point guard and maybe a decent center. james for sure is going to ask for alot to stay with the raptors and with the breakout season he had alot of other teams will be offering him big bucks
