Concept wise, I'd like this The g-shocks are kiddish, but the are good for casual wear. A lot of watches posted here are a bit too dressy for my taste. But Tag Huer has some really nice watches I'd like to get my hands on.
I like this one. That's pretty casual. But I have a couple black watches already. What's the price on this one? I'd probably prefer a red needle.
I have a fairly high grade fake rolex Daytona that my uncle copped for me in Asia and I was never comfortable passing it off as a legitimate watch. I think that if you are going to spend money on a replica of something high end you might as well just use that money towards something lower end, but higher value. And if you're the type to insist your fake watch is the real thing its probably representative of some personal issues about self-worth. "This kid's net worth is probably around 10 grand, and he says he's wearing a 8 thousand dollar watch?" That Grand Carrera, and other high-end watches, are valued more than the sum of their parts. Its a watch that is designed to some pretty exceptional and exacting specifications using premium materials, but in all honesty having a watch that is consistently accurate to 1/100th of a second won't matter to your average consumer. 99% of people who buy expensive watches are using them as status symbols, both for internal satisfaction about their own degree of achievement and externally to show that they have attained a certain level of success in their lives. Not saying everyone needs a really expensive watch to show that they are successful. My uncle, for one, has built a solid business and could afford pretty much any watch and he just wears a Timex, but a lot of people out there (and this is why the market for low-function luxury items exist) would enjoy owning a valuable item like this as a symbol of their achievements. As much as I want a Tag Heuer I wouldn't buy one unless I had a six figure income, which hopefully won't be too far off into the future.
Anyone who tries to pass a rep tag as a real obviously shouldn't. Theres just a rep scene out there and people accept it for what it is because there are lotsa beautiful watches out there normally unaffordable unless it's a rep. not to say im apart of the scene but i do enjoy a beautiful and well made watch fake or not.
I have to whole heatedly agree for watches. Since watches is an accessory, I'd like to have many of them to go with different outfits. But since I can't afford even 1 high end watch, might as well spend some good money for some high end reps. Just don't pass it off as a legit brand.
psssh....i thought it was weird...when they were talking about it... coz i was like "g"...??...and kept seeing "g-shock"... and then was like ooOOoo hahhaah...-tongue2.. and whut watch do you wear then kung kung..???
