Now, I'm starting using the concept of QVOD, at first DL the QVODPlayer then go to the any QVOD movies web sites then DL the desired movies.

Do I have to create login ID for uploading with fileswap? Is it fast to upload on this filehost? Will the link expire due to inactivity for certain period like sendspace? Filepost, freakshare, and refile are taking more than 4 hours for 250mb file.

I saw the last couple tvb eps are uploaded to bulletupload, so I've bought a premium for 180days just for 19.99USD.
Believe me, this is the slowest premium I ever had.

It's cheap, but DON'T BUY IT! My dls were much faster with a free fileswap account.

  9. well its a good thing ive saved a majority of the main cantonese TVB series for the past 3-5 years. If anyone is missing a specific episode of a series shoot me a PM and i'll see if i can help out.

I think it is not advisable to subscribe to premium account to hosting site and the risk of shutting down is very high. Though free account have limited privilege , it will just good to use as and when they are available. Megaupload offered lifetime premium membership, the best so far but when they are force to shutdown, nothing is lifetime. Visit my tweet @simplecheerful if you need torrent file to download these series.

I been saying this in a lot of places, right now it isn't a good time to buy a premium account, we just don't know if they have the quality that we would expect like some other well know file host sites. But the more info we can collect from members about these new sites, that's good too.

If you have to buy one, read the details of what they offer and get the one month premium and test it out first. Just want you guys to be cautious.

If you recently purchased a premium account (45days), I believe you can file a dispute through paypal about the seller.

Right now I recommend not buying any premium accounts, at this point it's hard to tell which filehosts will last through this.

Forgive me, but I feel compelled to respond to the inherent legal ignorance that is so evident in this post re: the "FBI" and the statement "I am sure..." What exactly can one be so sure of...? I suspect that many people (including you) are just talking tough and blowing smoke; IMHO, such a theory isn't worth the electrons it's printed on.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to pick a fight anyone, but to blithely recommend torrents, with the impression that they're a sound alternative with little or no legal consequences is specious advice that could get the otherwise ignorant or unknowing, into some very serious trouble. It's already pretty much common knowledge that the MPAA, RIAA et al, have employed IT companies to track, record, and locate content uploaders (read that as everyone on a torrent). Armed with this data, their lawyers have successfully obtained subpoenas (ie court orders) that forced internet service providers to divulge the names and addresses of its customers. With this legally obtained information, media rights holders have successfully sued or forced settlements to the tune of several thousand dollars each from individual torrent users that they had decided to go after. Again, the FBI has absolutely nothing to do with this, but a torrent uploader can still be hung out to dry. If you're caught, and you don't settle (ie. pay them), then the rights holder reserves the option to notify the FBI of your criminal copyright violation in regards to their property. Then the FBI will have to get involved and you will be put on trial.

Torrents are inherently dangerous unless one lives in a country that doesn't have copyright laws, or one that doesn't have treaties with countries which do. Though the MPAA had shifted tactics and had decided to go after bigger fish (torrent hosting sites instead of individual users) there is no reason why they can't return to the tactic of simply going after torrent users like before. Thus, anything which even suggests using torrents as a 'legally safe alternative' is very bad advice and does the downloading community at large a huge disservice. I know that everyone means well, but we should all try to be careful in what we say as some recommendations can do more harm than good.

How come you guys don't post up torrents anymore?
I think mirc sharing like someone suggested because most of the download site are being closed down
I know you can post on mediafire and set login and passwords.

Thanks for sharing your opinions. I agree with what you mentioned that downloading files is a violation of copyrights.

In every action, there will be an equal and opposite reaction. So while the freeloaders download files, there will be enforcement personnel tracking those down. So do it at your own risk :)
