    I have this problem too...
its really bad for me...sometimes i cant even walk....i notice that if the diet in the month is constant...
then its gonna be a bit better when it comes....
    i have lots of symptoms...
    stomach bloating
    cramps
    headache
    always tired
and light headed (I believe its the lack of blood)
so its really troublesome...most of the time i look like a vampire...lol...
its like my face has no colour what so ever...i even scare myself...lol
teachers always ask if im sick...well..i am in a way...lol..
but yeah...i normally put a heat pack on my stomach...it helps..
and take muscle pain relievers...it helps most of the time...

my dr told me dat u get cramps cuz ur calcium deficient, so either drink lots of milk regulary or even wen it comes jus take some calcium pills and drink milk, dats wat helps me

but i think my sis is more like ur friend, her cramps are so painful dat she actually screams in pain, she would take painkillers but sometimes dey dun work so my mom would boil her ginger and brown sugar and she would drink it and it seems dat it helps lol iunno maybe ur friend could try dat but i doubt shes willing to try lol

my gf has really hardcore cramps from her period, her doctor says that it varies from person to person, and hers are really bad, she has fainted from them before, the best method she said is birth control pills, she doens't faint anymore, while they are still hurting but not to that severity anymore

    Indeed, indirect pains. Lol.

Jokes aside, it's no fun. I usually try to go out of my way and not piss them off any further.

  8. a trip to the GP would b a good idea... but if nothing's wrong with her then he'll prolly just give her pain killers... i heard regular exercise helps...

  9. ah thats nice asking questions for your "friend" *wink* *wink*

Just go to the Doctors to make sure everything is all good

Wow those are very bad syndromes, maybe you should tell her not to eat cold stuff, and always eat breakfast during those times, and drink something warm in the morning? Breakfast would really help. And doing some exercise helps it too.

She should just go to see the doctor to find out if it is anything serious, it would seem safer in a way before taking medication.

I take advil when my period starts. I'm always afraid of the pain. Sometimes I even have to put a pillow against my stomache because it hurts so much.

Evening primrose oil seems to help but with such severe pains/ cramps, it's better to seek a doctor's opinion.

regular exercising helps prevent/reduce the pain, but if you still get pains then advil usually does the trick!

ibu is really good but i heard from my friend who's been taking it for years that she's had to increase the dosage every few months.. :(
although my stomach pains' not as bad, magnesium tablets have really been helping me out with the pain and it helps with the fatigue as well
