TVB's school-themed series Your Class Or Mine <尖子攻略> held a promotional event in a shopping centre on Thursday, attended by cast members including Bobby Au Yeung (歐陽震華), Sheren Tang (鄧萃雯), Benz Hui (許紹雄), Him Lo (羅仲謙), Oscar Leung (梁烈唯), Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) and Renee Dai (戴夢夢). During the event, the student and teacher characters from the drama split into groups to play some games, including apple bobbing and twister. Oscar and Renee were paired together for their turn at the apple game, but during the excitement, Renee accidentally bit Oscar on the lip and the confusion left them in a rather compromising position as they fell to the ground. Later, Oscar revealed that his character was not paired up with Renee in the original script, but he had made the suggestion to the producer to bring them together and this had been accepted for the script alteration. When asked if the bite on the lip was a hint at romance, Renee smiled that she is not that forthcoming and made the suggestion that if Oscar must have a crush on her because he had made the request to pair their characters up. However, she made it clear that she did not like her boyfriends to be so cheeky. Sheren was asked what she thought of the show's reviews and she said that the comments from a lot of students was that the series should have been aired before their exams to give them some encouragement. Asked how she felt about the news of a female student's suicide days before the start of the new school year, Sheren felt that it was a shame that not only young people, but often many adults will make the wrong decisions and take their own lives. Sheren added that she had experienced first hand the lack of encouragement and support experienced by the Hong Kong education system after she failed in her own studies and had to find work in acting. It was only after she took up an interior design course in the United States that she truly understood the value of the education in personal development that is given to students in other countries. This helped to boost her confidence and should be encouraged among all students. Source: Batgwa Written by Emma Lam
