lol, just live on benefits for the next 25 years n the debt is written off. Dnt hav 2 pay a penny back to the student loans company. xD
they cant get the money off you in another country because the way you pay your loan back is through (i think) National Insurance or some kind of other tax that is deducted from your pay if you live in another country they cant tax your pay lol but to be honest the amount you pay back per month is not gonna be a big portion of your monthly salary, so its really no problem, especially as a graduate where your looking at over £30k a year (well for engineering grads)
@O@ 30K woah benefits = money from government/council, you get it if you're a bum and i think if you're like a single mother or something? different situations i guess.. actually im not too sure on this myself lol the last time i check the average pay in uk was £20k-£25k?? but it's been a few years since i;ve checked loll
ye its about £20 to £25k. btw if u do leave the country they might not be able to tax u but they still request for u to send money back each month to pay back ur loan lol and i do believe it would be very difficult to actually escape from paying ur loan money back.
i guess we wont really know until one of us tries it but how would they track you down in the first place, unless you told them im moving to so and so country lol i dont think they have the resources to do that, i mean it takes like 3 months just for them to get my loan sorted when i provide them with everything they need
