The Qing Dynasty provided some of the greatest Chinese Emperors we had. Had it not been for the bitch Cixi, the Qing Dynasty might still exist today with a more powerful China.

empresses wu can be seen a a very cruel women....but we got to give her credit too...during the age which she lived in, it takes a lot of courage to stand up for yourself when u are a women. Although she was a women, she proved to be a very powerful figure in history. She also contributed a lot to the freedom and liberation of women during her time. Although i dont agree with most of her decidions....i admire her intelligence and her will of power.

I think you can't say that with absolute correctness. Very little is known about her, certainly many rumours has been afloat. I have read the biography by Sterling Seagrave, and according to it she was especially ignorant and not very clever dealing with the threats. Stories about her cruelness had particularly been invented by foreigners (and greedy journalists) who wanted to demonize her, so the book says...
