19 Jan – Hong Kong actress Niki Chow recently admitted that she is not at all affected by the backlash after announcing that she is now married to Chinese actor Fu Yiming. As reported on On CC, the actress, who was accused of being the third party in Fu's previous marriage, stated that she knew that people will react towards news of their marriage, but that she has already prepared herself for it. "I was a bit unhappy about [being called a third party]. He wanted to clarify the rumours, but I asked him not to get upset," she said. Niki stressed that the two of them actually dated only after Fu ended his first marriage, and that they got married within a year of their relationship. As to the fact that she is now a stepmother to Fu's child, Niki said that she has no issue about it. "No matter what happens, I will accept everything about his past. I already knew this when we were together so I don't really mind," she said. The actress also dismissed rumours that theirs was a shotgun marriage, saying that she is not pregnant.
