TOKYO — Japanese-American model Jun Hasegawa announced Wednesday that she will marry a Hawaiian man in the near future. Hasegawa, 25, made the announcement in a hand-written statement faxed to media in Tokyo. “I’m happy to announce that I, Jun Hasegawa, will be getting married to a Hawaiian gentleman. We are going to have a small wedding with just family and relatives. I would like to keep my entertainment activities based in Japan,” she said in the statement.” Born in New Hampshire to a Japanese mother and American father, Hasegawa moved to Hawaii at the age of two and grew up there until she was scouted at 14.
