does anyone think that the Miss HK contestents get uglier each year and even TVB give leads to the Miss Asia Winners like Bernice Liu and Linda Chung:(
Post pictures of contestants and we'll comment. Not that this is sexist in any way, but as a social commentary that maybe mankind is getting uglier.
Maybe all the pretty ones don't want lots of attention so they don't enter. Ah well. There is nothing we can do.
I never watch Miss Hong Kong... only notice some of them when TVB make a series with some of the Miss's. Agree.
Pssh yeah, they're getting uglier each year. It was kinda of worst back in the day as well to be honest.
well i think its only the first time u look at them they pretty, plus don't think u'd get to see them a 2nd time
Sorry to point this out, but human females are getting prettier over time because of biology. Details to follow, but you can tune it out if you want Our genes "know" what is the best combination. Physically attractiveness genes are more effective on females (aggressiveness, muscularity, etc. are better on males), so whenever two people mate, their genes figure out whether a boy/girl is best based on available genes. Pretty/handsome people tend to have daughters because of the above reason and because pretty/handsome people tend to marry other physically attractive people, the overall effect is to produce ever more attractive females
But then wouldn't the same be true also? Ugly people marries with ugly people who goes to produce even uglier offsprings? So everything just balances out? Higher quality of ugly to go hand in hand with higher quality of attractive? And no, the questions are not rhetorical.
