TVB actress Louisa Mak recently confirmed rumours that she has decided not to sign a long management contract with the company following the expiration of her previous agreement.

As reported on On CC, the actress and former Miss Hong Kong, who has been signed with TVB since 2015, recently decided to change their cooperation to a per series contract, which allows her to film one show per year.

The move sparked speculations that Louisa plans on focusing on her law career, especially after obtaining a license to practice law in the United States last year.

Speaking about the change, the actress said that she wasn't thinking about the money, but to have a more flexible time for her to do what she wants.

"I want more personal time. In short, I am not a law intern. I won't say much on other things. I am currently on a break, and will go back to film shows from time to time," she said.
