My sister had it done 5-6 years ago and during her most recent check-up her eyesight has diminished a bit. Her eye's also get dried easily so she always has eye drops with her. Also, I think I've read an article somewhere reguarding people seeing halos in their vision. Some more information can be found at http://www.webmd.com/eye-health/lasik-laser-eye-surgery.
I really want to get laser eye surgery but, I heard you are awake when they laser your eyes. I am too scared of the pain.... ________ Penny stocks to watch
one of my teacher did the surgery and he didnt have to wear glasses or anything! with something like this, look for the best, not the cheapest. no such thing as the best and the cheapest
i thought about getting laser eye surgery.. my mom got it done at least 6 years ago when the technology first came out. her vision is still ok. i heard though that it may be better to wait until your vision has settle and won't get worse anymore before doing the surgery. so that may be the reason why some people get it done and their vision goes bad again after a while. yes, it is definitely a lot cheaper now to do the surgery, but to be safe i wouldn't just go for the cheapest service. these are my eyes after all. i would not want to risk losing my site just because i want to save some money.
I'm 20 i've gotten it done..$3000 for both eyes..i heard its cheaper in Asia and South America but i got it done at Clarkson Eyecare..it doesn't HURT just pressure on your eyes. Takes about 2 days to heal..I was near sighted at 4.50 thats pretty bad...ehh i don't regret doing it because i'm so young and i know my eyesight will still change as i age...i just know that you can't do to much like heavy activities like contact sports...it just hurts ur head..and yea thats about it..i can see clearly...
The prices for laser surgery on eyes for better vision has definitely gone down these couple of years. I've always wanted to have it done also. I checked online a long time before deciding NOT to have it done. Though my vision is very poor. I've opted out of doing it only because I've read too many cases of bad outcomes and more eye surgery to correct the vision and even after then the eye has many side effects that can't be corrected. The eye sight is your window to the world as they say. Any changes for the worse can really effect your perception of things. Think again.
its really up to every1! But personally , i will do it cos its a pain of wearing glasses or contact all the time! Although ppl say there i risk, but the risk is so small that it jus there to prevent ppl from sueing teh surgeon! Technolygy nowaday is so accurate that we shouldnt be worried, cos as in real life, everything has risk, (esp anything that relates to surgery) so it really depends on how much risk there is and whether teh benefit outweigh the risk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I VOTE FOR SURGERY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Watch this LASIK surgery and decide yourself http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUs6Osi2HWU&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fhubpages.com%2Fhub%2FLasik-Surgery--Contact-Lenses-or-Prescription-Glasses&feature=player_embedded
my aunt had it done couple of years and everything was good for the first couple of months. she's wearing her glasses again lately though and when i asked her about them she tells her vision is blurry even with glasses now. i'm sure it is different from person to person but my eyes are too important to take the risk.
I want to have super laser eye surgery have I can zoom in and out with my eyes... and can target any object and stuff... Was watching this on discovery channel talking about the new contact lenses (for the armies) Now if they could implent that into laser eye surgery...
