i don't think i have hair on my legs ... or at least its not noticable .. but if i did, i wouldn't wax. it seems too painful -sick2
how old are you xmichelly? you look really young. maybe it hasn't grow? hehe ... but if you read through this thread, alot of people say if you shave, it'll grow back thicker. so ... what are your options?
me = 16. i hope i don't grow hair as i get older. i'm happy with how it is now. but if i do, i'd still shave, unless there was some nonpainful way of waxing
when u wax ur actually exfoliating at the same time saves me from exforliating for the next 2 days at least puahahaha... n depilatory cream seems quiet popular... but if the cream is strong enough to dissolve ur hair imagine how much chemical it has... >.< i tried it once n it burnt my skin
Shaving won't make your hair grow thicker or longer. Waxing is painful but can last longer. My gf experience ingrown hair with either method. Tried chemical to dissolves her hair like ~*Dawn*~ did but it didn't work :( I say shave, it's cheap and you'll only need to shave when you're going to wear shorts or skirts.
well when u wax ur pulling the hair from the roots... so when it grows back the hair has a very fine tip n it takes longer to grow back... when u shave ur hair ur cutting it thru the middle... so when the hair grows back it feels spikier n it grows back a lot quicker coz ur only getting rid of the hair on the surface... n because it grows back quicker ppl usually shave more often... this stimulates the skin n ur body will actually try to grow ur hair thicker n stronger to protect u... if ur gf wants to get rid of her ingrowns she needs to exfoliate abt once every second day n apply an ingrown cream daily... don't get the stuff from supermarkets coz it's mainly made of water... it's better to go to a salon n get a professional product... yeah i know... actually my teacher used the depilatory cream for sensitive areas on me... it's designed for face n bikini areas... she demonstrated on my upper lips n it stung like hell >.< n my upper lips were red for 2 days...
Waxing is always better. It last longer then shaving. After shaving and the hair comes back it does comes back thicker. Waxing also helps to exfoliate for the winter too.
noooooo like ppl have said, thats just a myth, wen u shave hairs, wen they grow bak they appear thickerbut theyre really not. read about this on msn news lol .
i know!!!!! >.< it's either put up with the pain or walking around looking like an ape... *sigh* lucky i dun need to wax my arms n legs anymore...
lol...ive never waxed my arms...=/ i dont have hairy arms... nor have i waxed/shaved my arm pits....there are only like 3 hairs...i use tweezer
First women says that when they give birth, now they're saying that cos they're waxing, whats next?!?! Eating?!?!
