Since their debut in 1997 with the single “Glass no Shounen“, KinKi Kids has had an unbroken, fifteen-year streak of number one singles. Their record stands seven years ahead of the second longest streak of number one singles starting from the debut single, which is held by Nakamori Akina; she topped the charts for nine years (1982 to 1990).
