Well, it was an idiotic statement. Karma only applies to people who did something wrong. In this case, it wasn't the common Chinese citizen in Sichuan but the PRC government bosses in Beijing. So if innocents are getting harmed, then its really not karma (or cosmic justice in any sense). This would lead one to believe that Stone either: 1. doesn't understand how karma works, or... :rolleyes2: 2. doesn't understand the political system in the PRC and how little the average man on the street has to say about it, or... :rolleyes2: 3. she's was at as absolute loss for words, but wanted to say something, anything that would "resonate" but wound up saying something stupid instead, or... :rolleyes2: 4.
