Taking part in a radio interview, Joel Chan (陳山聰) revealed that he was ecstatic that "The Unholy Alliance" -《同盟》 finale had high views and was grateful to producer Jazz Boon (文偉鴻) for creating the onscreen romance between him and Elaine Yiu (姚子羚). "It bought out a good response and was well received by the public. We even received invitations to appear at functions together. It's even given me the opportunity to appear on stage as well. Normally I don't have high expectations to win any awards but this year I really want to take Elaine's hand and walk up together to collect the "Best On-Screen Couple" award." When mentioned about his real girlfriend in life, Apple, Joel expressed that he doesn't have any marriage plans at the moment and the ring that was given to her was just a simple couples gift, Apple herself wants Joel to participate more in stage appearances to earn more money so she's isn't in a rush to get married too. ~~~ cred:mingpao
