Although he is one of the favourites to win this year's TV King, Joel Chan is channelling his support instead for his competitor, Kenneth Ma. As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who sat down for an interview alongside the "Big White Duel" lead, stated that he is optimistic about Kenneth Chan's chance of winning this year at the TVB Anniversary Awards, after being snubbed time and time again in previous events. "The role of Dr Tong Ming was really suitable for Kenneth, both in style and character. I'm sure he would win," he said. On the other hand, Kenneth was full of praises for Joel's performance in the hit series, "Barrack 'Karma", saying that the actor's character in the drama was even better than his own performance in his series. At the same time, both actors also picked Benjamin Yuen as another one of their biggest competition, saying that the actor gave his best in the TVB-Tencent drama, "The Defected".
