    I think it depends on the age. If the person was old enough to understand right and wrong fully well, he should know that by cheating on his significant other means throwing everything away then he is risking everything. It's very very very rare for a relationship to go on smoothly after the trust is broken. It won't be the same anymore. I mean she or he might forgive, but they'll never forget.

    like many relationships, i was so blinded by love i would ignore and wont beleive she is..... call it denial.

    I carried on with mine, why she was banging away to the neighbour while i slept or at work. Thinking back i thought it was a bit weird why she'd send me to the shops and before i got home she'd send me to the supermarket. Now i know the truth.

    In end she still kicked me out.

    you should find out and make sure for sure that she/he did cheat or not... but if they did... most likely there not gonna tell you lol... so it depends on your self...

    if they did... i would just leave... cause the chances of it happening again... it's real high
