Identifiying language

    i need help identifying this language, any help will be appreciated.
    the word is
    ɥao
    i'm not sure if it's an upside down h, but it looks like it. This means goodbye in some language.

    I tried looking for it, it's a bet my teacher made with the students, he says it's not Russian and we already identified Russian as something other word.

    nevermind i found the language, it isn't any of the above but thanks for trying to help. It was bulgarian haha. had to look for the symbols in microsoft word 07.

    Yes that is correct. It's actually "чао" not "ɥao".
