Hyd vs. Meteor Garden

    HYD all the way. Sticking with the manga, and the humour isn't exagerated like usual Taiwan humour. The story works well without any need to drag the show for another 10 episodes like HK and China as stated above.

    girl in HYD finer, guys in MG is cooler o_o

    HYD has better acting + better story all around

    therefore.......... HYD wins!
    the cheesy conclusion in HYD 2 was cool too =D

    HYD was much better than meteor garden...and on top of that tsukasa's sister was HOT...i think the japanese drama did a better job of portraying the anime than the taiwanese version

    MG was way too long and over dramatic. It seemed to drag on and on.
    HYD was a lot more fun to watch.

    I like Meteor Garden better than Hana Yori Dango.
    I think the season 2 of HYD is MUCH better than season 1.

    I'm more to the HYD side, because the story is not as dragged out as Meteor Garden.. the lead actress is also better looking lol. The story was more "alive" and interesting... I love the series' OST.
    My GF likes the way the guys compete for the girl's heart o_O

    after recently having seen both, I have 2 say HYDs better (acting, set, costume) but F4 in meteor garden are better looking!

    HYD!! I like how HYD is more fast-paced but keeps the drama; Meteor GArden seems to drag on forever and ever. Plus I kind of find HYD's F4 to be better looking, but that's only imo.
    Anyone else excited for the HYD movie????

    Yeah, I liked HYD and HYD2 a lot better than MG. and especially MG2 [horrible]

    i haven't seen the other version but i seen hana yori dango which was so entertaining to watch. I think hana yori dango is probably better since the actors and actress are good there.

    i would have say HYD because the acting is better and it's more visually appealing imo
    i can't wait for the movie to come out next summer ^_^
    but it makes me a little sad since the series is ending and it would be the last time seeing the cast together...
    especially hanazawa rui <33333

    i just actually finishsed season 1.. >_< yes old news. imma start season 2 soon.
    i like it ^____^
    but yeah my gf told me meteor garden is slow and boring. she only watched 1 episode.

    ^ theres a movie coming out?

    Definitely HYD. The images and acting skills of the artists are much nearer to the manga...

    yep i like HYD much better than meteor garden, all the cast in HYD fit the characters very much...

    I also have seen both series and I seem to favor meteor garden because of the acting ability.

    HYD i must say.. it seems slightly better made.. maybe because they had a bigger budget.. iono
    also the sequel.. much better than meteor garden II..

    i love HYD! both seasons were soooo good... i am so looking forward to the movie right now, can't wait!
    i also heard that there's going to be a korean version??
