@bbrain maybe he didn't explain in detail because he was referring to adrianc's statement..

I know he was referring to adrianc's statement. That gross part... But getting herpes through sodomy? You could get it through penetration as well, what's the point of that statement?

you mean the sodomy part has nothing to do with adrianc's gross statement? yeah I get it lol....but oral sex is still considered sodomy right? (correct me if I'm wrong)

Nooo! Grr.. i mean we are on the topic of sex rite? Penetration.. and then he said ->
Wouldn't that infer that you don't get herpes through normal penetration? Lol.

My point is that herpes can be transmitted through penetration or sodomy (oral sex included), so what's the point of saying "that is gross... PLUS YOU MAY GET HERPES THROUGH SODOMY"? he could haf just said, "That is quite gross..", since you get HERPES through penetration as well.

If your with a guy you know well, then you will know if he is a virgin or not. On the contrary, if you don't him well enough, he will probably not be a virgin.

Simply put, be with someone you can trust.

  9. BabyRain

LOL? Is that saying you can trust only virgins??

It means you'll only know if your with an honest guy.
It's trumped by the fact that if your with a guy that'll lie and say he is/ he isn't, you'll never know. But if your with an honest guy, he'll say so.

But the punch is that, why would you want to be with an HONEST GUY that has MUTIPLE PARTNERS? Get it? It kind of manifests itself.

I wouldn't want to be with a skank either right?

^How can you assume a non-virgin is dishonest? Even if he's a not a virgin doesn't mean he'll lie about it and you can't trust the person. Also, because a guy is not a virgin, doesn't mean he has MULTIPLE PARTNERS.

Your sentence is too general, that's stereotyping all the non-virgin guys as liars and they are not honest.

Stereotypical yes, because it is true. Once your not a virgin, your not and your opened to as much possibilities as you can. But that's as close you can get. What your saying gives open space to every possible scenario obviously.

    It's logic.
    Non Virgin = Over 1 Partner()s
    Virgin = 0 Partner(s)

Virgin = LIE, and even so he's still a Virgin
Non Virgin = LIE, and still not a Virgin

It's better to be lied and find out he is a Virgin then to find out otherwise.
Get it, though it might be difficult to see, it's what I'm trying to get at in a sense. The idea is truth, it's not what is being told to you.

Would you want to be with a virgin or a non-virgin? I mean given morals, standards and everything else, I'm sure most and everyone would want someone that's a virgin. Who wants skanks? Who wants promiscuous guys?

Bottom line you cannot tell, but you can guess, estimate and feel.

Enough with this thread though, it's stupid, you can't tell for girls either. ;)

  15. BabyRain

    BabyRain Doppelgänger of da E.Twin

Talking about logic, you are equalling non-virgin = MULTIPLE PARTNERS, which is NOT logical at all.

Nah, I'd prefer a non-virgin over virgin, more experienced and sensitive to women's needs, provided he's not the promiscuous type of course.

LOL, just cause a guy is a virgin doesn't mean he has higher morals than a non-virgin. He could be a total jerk compared to some guy who has slept with his lover before.

Losing their virginity doesn't mean they have low morals. I think the word you need to use here is strict adherence to their religion(s), as some religious guys don't condone sex before marriage, but that doesn't mean he's a morally righteous guy... lol.

And you are wrong there, unlike guys, girls will usually bleed during their first times when their hymens are broken, unless you are always engaged in vigorous sports that may haf broken ur hymen earlier.

    1) I understand about if you can tell if it's a girl's first time or not. Keep in mind she might have previously engaged in other sexual acts, not intercourse. As mentioned, STDs are not only spread through intercourse. Well regardless, telling if a girl is a virgin is fairly easier, although not always 100%- relative to guys. Girls do bleed, some do even after their first time. The misconception is crazy out there.

    2) I have never seen girls prefer guys that are non-virgins? *SOME.. Some just won't accept the fact, and it's not like it's the first thing someone asks when meeting someone. Based on your scenario, the guy that is a NON-VIRGIN definitely had sex already. Given the chances and a reasonable doubt, he MAY have been with more than 1 person. I know personally I wouldn't want to be with a girl that has been with someone before. I'm sure most would agree, although not totally. I mean, who wants 2nd hand?

    3) By you saying, NON-VIRGIN and having experience means he must have had sex with more woman, to gain EXPERIENCE. To have experience after 1 partner? He must have been with more than 1, or MORE to have EXPERIENCE. Catch my drift?

    4) I understand all the POSSIBILITIES about a guy being a virgin but a nice/bad guy, and a non-virgin being a nice/bad guy. That type of thing is ENDLESS, but again, if most would shoot for craps, you know what odds speak what.

    5) Morals and religions do not need to go hand in hand as well. It can be personal ethics, choices and decisions. Having sexual contact, intercourse or not is still having sex. Rather you might accept this as being a virgin/ non-virgin is another detail scrutiny.

I personally would want a genuine and honest relationship before sex, and I wouldn't lie about the fact that if a girl had sex before, my idea will be mixed. I know deep down I might not accept her. This is just me though. Call me a traditionalist as you will, but I hate how skanks are born, and how they think being a slut is in and faggot guys who think they can tap girls and act macho when in fact he probably is shitting his herpes.

I WILL SAY THIS, 9/10 guys will just want to sleep with you and have sex with you. 9/10 will look at your features. 9/10 will LIE just so they can do things with you. It is sad... -batman

Are you a girl? Do I get a chance? ;)-blush2

wow calling a girl who is not a virgin 2nd hand???
Anyways i don't agree with much of what you've said. Just because a girl or guy may have had many partners doesn't make them a slut or manwhore. I know people who have slept with many people but they were all their bfs/gfs. I don't see anything wrong with that, thats just part of a strong relationship.

Oh and about the 9/10 guys just want to sleep with you and will lie to you about it thing

well girls do that too, they sleep with people for other reasons such as money, or to fill their sense of insecurity.

It takes time, thought, and digestion to accept and really look into what someone wrote and to be genuine. This is the internet after all. Everyone has their own ideas. Stop dissecting fragments and blowing them up, 2nd hand in the sense of the scenario. I hate when people take a segment and blow it up. It might be bold, but it's truth. Some will not agree, but it's just how it is.

How are you not a manwhore, slut then ?? So they are OKAY that they've been through MANY RELATIONSHIPS and have slept in those relationships and it's OKAY that they are not sluts/whores? You are right in the sense that people do sleep around, and do have many many relationships that engage in sex and it's fine? Last thing I recall, the divorce rates are VERY HIGH in the U.S.A and many other countries in this newer generation. Point being, people are promiscuous and do not care about matrimony, do not care about loyal, faithfulness, fidelity, all that good stuffs. It's VERY VERY VERY VERY easy to break it, and most people have gone with the "screw it" attitude. That's why rare gems are hard to find. What then is your reason and acceptance as a partner? That's if your willing to say the truth. At least I can boldly speak up and say so.

So cultures that like to maintain chastity and what not is wrong? Sorry, but having a virgin, pure has been an important part in many many cultures. Woman history and even history in general have portrayed men and women a certain way. I'm sure you know of it. I know woman that sleep for benefit, it happens both ends obviously. But lets be realistic about the genetic makeup of men and woman and the needs. After all, the porn industry is dominated by what? Men. It's catered to them more so than woman. DUH !

My definition of 'virginity' is just whether the girl has engaged in intercourse or not, thus I am saying you can tell whether the girl is a virgin during intercourse if she bleeds, not with the concern of whether she's been sexually active or not (making out, oral sex) etc.

I have never heard of girls bleeding after their first time, only some that do NOT bleed during their first time.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but yeah I do prefer a non-virgin, and there are many other girls I know who prefer experienced men rather than inexperienced ones.

Actually the discussion is rather pointless because I have observed, virgins would usually say they want a virgin, and non-virgins would say they don't (no doubt there are still some non-virgin guys out there who WANTS a virgin wife...).

Sorry, I don't liken a non-virgin to 2nd hand. So what if the guy has been with someone before? As long as he wasn't doing it just for fun... He did it because he loved the gal, that's the most important thing... and also, he's NOT doing it with other people when he's with one gal. As long as he's the faithful type, that's all that matters. Virginity is somewhat overrated.
No? Experience can also come with the NUMBER of times you have sex with the SAME person. Doesn't mean the guy must have done it with various partners. Look at it this way. Are you telling me you sucked for your first time doing it with your wife, then you would 'perform' in the same way for the rest of your life? Surely, you get better at what you do when you do it a few more times.

That's what I am talking about. Catch my drift?
Actually, I don't know what odds speak what. A non-virgin does NOT mean the guy/girl has low morals. Simple as that. Your equation of non-virginity with low/loose morals is illogical.
I don't know what you are talking about here, or rather what point you are trying to make, the relevance to our discussion. Mind to elaborate?
That's your personal choice, no one can say you are wrong.

But when you automatically label every non-virgin as sluts/skanks whatever and have low morals, then expect people to speak up against you on that.
