You should also consider the following two exercises my personal trainer taught me (which don't require a gym membership), since they will work different parts of your calves: 1. Point your toes in so they're touching each other and your feet create a 90 degree angle similar to this: /\. Raise your body with the balls of your feet and you can use the same up and down tempo WinterSky mentioned. 2. Point your toes out and have your heels touching each other with your feet creating a 90 degree angle similar to this: \/. Once again, raise your body with the balls of your feet and you can use the same up and down tempo WinterSky mentioned. If your feet get out of place, then move them back into position because you may put unnecessary strain on your knees. I was told to do two sets of the following: 20 calf raises then 20 raises with toes in and then 20 raises with heels in. Add weight if they get too easy.

Take ballet...... but that involves money....... well i have a friend who always flexes her calves and they are huge!!! that's kinda like her tick i guess.... like keep standing on you tippy toes up and down... repeat as long as you can take it
