You don't. You do a leap of faith and hope for the best. The feeling of falling is great though, wind in your hair, feeling almost weightless
But seriously, we cannot tell if the person is our loved ONE. Because everything is in relative term: knowing a girl now, feeling the affection, does not mean you will not meet another that the affection and attraction is greater in the days to come. We just stick with what we have chosen so to NOT hurt the ones we moderately love, since love is not matching cards, loving one person does not mean she will love you back.
