well as you know Tv Tokyo is gona start airing naruto worldwide 1 hour after its released in Japan so i really hope everyone starts doing this.

i would pay a subscription fee if I got a good service that allowed me to watch anime/drama at a high quality

Yep, it is working again through SopCast.

 

It seems SopCast TVB is down again! Anyone has another working way to get TVB? LiveStation works but is laggy

Yeah, it would be a nice move if everybody starts doing this.

I wouldn't mind paying as well, since I was actually already paying for TVBS-E until it was canceled by my cable provider. Can't get any satellite signals from my house either, so streaming is the only option for me.

SopCast has been going down quite often lately, I can only hope it does return ... unlike that I-Cable Movies 1 channel that made a disappearing act some time ago.

Also "option 1" was great while it lasted. I was getting near TV quality. I have been trying to find some alternatives, but none are as good as that deceased "option 1".

Anyway, I have added some additional streaming options to the thread. I'm currently using PPStream most of the time since that gives me the best performance (no buffering, hanging, etc.), but to setup everything so I can stream it on TV is a pain in the butt.

Has HMC been around for awhile now?

I only noticed it recently when the channels refreshed.. do new channels always pop up now and then?

 

Not that I recall. Then again, the list of channels can be quite dynamic. What's here today might not be there tomorrow and viceversa. It all depends on the volunteers that decide to broadcast these channels from day to day.

So enjoy the channels while they are there and keep in the back of your mind that they will be gone one day. It will prevent future frustration

bah, i only just realised I-Cable Movies 1 channel is down ~ i use to watch it a lot but didnt use Sopcast for a while and today used it again and to see it doesnt play :(
