well i mean all it is is that you have xp and vista installed but you want xp to boot right? so delete the vista boot and you should be alright..
alright yall... so I tried running the XP set up again.. and when it asks to select drive to install it on.. it shows that there are NO drives!! and if I try to select delete a partition or just enter to continue to install.. I get the Blue Screen saying non_page_default something something.. what am I to do now!?!
vista is gay. i tried installing a few apps, but i see vista yelling NO. its like a virgin afraid of intercourse.
not really... just continue to install the program... don't care about what vista say... it sometime don't work.. but still work... most of the time for me.. lolz .., dam i suck at cod4
i'm not a vista lover.. but i just can't install xp.. whenever i want to upgrade my computer.. microsoft said the validation key is not valid... so im stuck with vista hehehehehe.. vista is ok.. i like the menus and stuff on vista the most..
SHIT!! mayday!! I'm freakin' getting a winload.exe missing/corrupt error after trying to put that one hard drive into my comp... now it jus wont load!! what am i to do... its getting wayy to complicated to fix!!
dammit I think I might have to... FREAKIN!! damn I got it to load into windows now... but problem is.. I just get a blue screen!! it doesn't load the icons, taskbar.. any of it!! stupid Vista!!! why did I bother trying to fix the other computer.. -___-
OMG I Am a freakin' computer genius!!! here's what happened.. in this mist of connecting my friends HDD to my comp... it some how bumped off my harddrive as being the default bootup drive... and thing was.. I was able to boot the comp with his no problem on my comp.. but as soon as I disconnected it, that's where the problem started to occur... after much messing around and setting bios back to default settings I was able to log onto Windows but was left with just a blue screen with most of my process not starting.. and being a quick thinker as I am.. I immediately tried messing around with task manager.. because I was able to run that.. after much messing with.. I remembered there was a function to start up tasks and I had tried to use it to load up my default C: drive folder.. but nothing was detected.. and then I tried D: drive and realized 'Oh.. my drive letter's been switched!' fast forward 10-15mins.. I ended up accessing my system32 folder for the Management Console.. but couldn't change the default drive as it contained boot info and everything. So, me being resourceful... looked online with my phone.. it was only thing that had access to internet at the time... saw I could change the drive letters in regedit... and well... after a long long nite... I finally fixed my computer!!! -cool2

well done ecko. in regards to the first post on this thread just use ur xp recovery disc which came with the laptop and u should be able to windows xp back.

theres an adrive link or something like that.. but it says to not share with other sites i have no clue really.. i think you insert the disc... then it'll check for problem and repair? not sure..
this geek squad thing is something best buy put together for the geek squad team basically, its a compilation of multiple diagnostic tools in one, thus making it easier for geek squad people to find your problems and fix it. i think it could be extremely useful, if only it wasnt hosted on megafuckload rapidcrap and megashit.
