help please

i downloaded a subtitle 'a time to love' but i can't play it with the movie,can someone help me please?

 

what are you using to watch the movie? vlc player? and what type of file is the subtitle?

 

First check the file name, make sure the file name for each extension is the same.
e.g:
a time to love.avi
a time to love.srt
or
a time to love.idx + a time to love.sub

The subtitles usually come in either .srt or .sub format. The .srt format is standalone, while the .sub comes with a .idx file.

Next, play the avi file. If the subtitles do not show, you need to enable it. For vlc player, go to the 'video' tab, under 'subtitles track', enable the one you want. For other players.. not too sure, but should have similar options.
