Girls, What Make-Up Brands Do You Like?

i think MAC and stuff from sephora are pretty good. any other good suggestions?

 

Loreal Hip has pretty good foundation

 

i agree mac is really good! esp the shadows, i also use urban decay, benefit and hard candy!!!

 

favourite brand is Benefit.V pure and natural colour with the funkiest packaging.Love their eyebright and dandelion blush.

 

Aveda for moisturizer, Maybelline for mascara, Anna Sui, Shu Uemura and Cargo for eye shadow.

 

I have never used make up . I have a typical asain look.
All this talk of make up makes me feel lost. I would really like to give it a try.
What I don't understand is eye make up , do I still use eyeliners (my eyes being chinky) and how do you apply eyeliners on chinky eyes.
For a beginner like me what makeup brands do you guys suggest.

 

Don't wear that much make up but the cheap brand that I like is Revlon, Loreal, and Neturongena.

 

Estee Lauder...heard Smashbox has some interesting products too...

good make up is expensive but its worth it given that you know how to use it

 

For foundation i use Bare Essentials and it works great since it makes your skin look flawless. Estee Lauder for mascara and lips.

 

I lurve "Regene" - this brand sold in HK (Mannings, Watsons etc) with ads by Twins, Isabella, Cecilia Cheung (previously) and Karina Lam (previously). I don't know if anyone can still recall or can rmbr this brand.

It's reasonably priced and I think it's very much suited for Asian skin, with a lot of products addressing for our skin concerns like hydration, acne, deep cleansing, UV protection and most importantly whitening!

cuz i like more natural looking make up... usually asian brands (ex: shiseido.. my #1 so far!)

i LOVE shiseido's mascara.. SO GOOD.. and the smell is nice.. very natural looking too

other mascaras i recommend are lancome's definicils.. <-- SO GOOD but only for those who want make up look very apparent on your face!

i like lancome's eyeshadows... but i use anything neutral coloured.. like browns, light, shimmery/glittery

the other brands are more for caucasians.. so i stick with asian brands XD

used to use shiseido but it got too oily for my skin type...mac is too thick/heavy...i like shu uemura and revlon...

i love their lipgloss, lipstick, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara... just about everything.

it really depends on what product you are talking about. for eyeshadow i really like mac.

 

foundation primer=smashbox.
foundation=covergirl hydrating (tried all types, expensive and cheap and i find this stuff works best for me).
loose powder=mac.
eyeshadow=mac.
liquid eyeliner=revlon.
mascara=maybelliene (green and pink bottle).
blush=mac.
lipgloss=mac.

 

I use Lancome lipgloss (juicy tubes), Chanel eye pencil & Dior Eyeshadow...
