Getting a China ID Card

    i was wondering how do you get a China ID card
    As i have a HK ID card i want to know if i am eligable to getting a CHINA ID CARD

    Your location is London, UK. Why do you need HK Id card and China Id card? Hobby?

    Not like he needs to get rid of his old passports, always useful to get a China ID to get in and out for holiday/work etc.

    lol imagine getting an ID for all the countries, get to travel anywhere :)

    you mean "wui heung card" ? I was going to get one when i went back to hk.. but they said something about my hk id.. cos i only have 2stars on there so i will have to wait till 5 years later or something then they'll see if i can get one or not. so no point really.

    You can try getting one, but probably it won't be as easy as it used to for getting one now.

    Is this some sort of governmental id card? I don't understand ... can anyone just get it? And why does HK id card not applicable to China id card? HK is China and China is HK now, is it not?

    So if one has migrate to UK, does he / she not required to renounces his/her China citizenship?
