when i hear fat america or anything about McD. 'supersize me' comes to mind. and the most striking scene was when he was eating that burger in the car
hm, okay i would like better abs of course, but can you just tell me like, gimme some nice descriptions for the workouts you do for abs
For abs it's often about diet, losing the fat off your stomach (which can be a real bitch at times). Some peoples opinions sit on that ones where you 'hold' your abs, such as pilate's situp, or the 'boat' hold (imagine doing a situp til ure body is about 45 degrees angle, and then you lift your legs off the ground STRAIGHT on the same angle), whereas some say high reps is a better idea. For those who aren't so lean, good cardio is important beforehand, I once read that before you do some situps try to go for a jog or spend an hour on the cardio machine of choice, that way you're meant to isolate all your situp energy towards your stomach. Dunno if it's BS but it sounds nice =)
To have a strong core and definition here's a couple of physical aspects your looking at in order to see gradual changes. One thing everyone should know is everyone has abs. That the fact.. Showing it is another factor. Key ingredients to showing your abdominals are as follows: 1. Proper exercise in means of resistance training and cardiovascular training. resistance means your toning those parts therefore when you burn off the fat when you do you do your cardio. those abs will appear in a oriented firm composure. And kind of exercise that flexes the abs will do from situps to using your abs to do a full body workout. your abs are also used to stabilize your body to perform correct posture exercise. So when people say core strength helps when your bench pressing.. that meands your abs are flexed to stabilize the body so you can isolate the body to use those pectoralis majors to perform. cardio would mean you do a consistant 20 min for beginners of stationary cycling.. The key to this is to maintain a higher heart rate for an extended period of time. so if you have somethign in mind that makes you breath harder, it's something you would consider as cardio. i highly recommend people to stay active as in using stairs instead of elevators.. walking instead of cars if possible. 2. second to speed up your process of seeing those rectus abdominals would be nutrition. using the word diet sounds so hard. Basicalli to see abs clears you body composition has to be under 10% fat. so comsumption of direct fat should be limited. And second small tip i can give is .. follow the canada food guide =P for a health living. another method is each day you take away a food in your diet that you feel is fatning.. just one of them... this is a big step to success. last but not least... finish each work out with a stretching component.. your body has performed what you desire..should give your body the respect is deserves. GL to all on shaping and toning. =P
Generally, I have a flat stomach. I used to have a 6 pack, and that's when I ran at least 4-5 miles every day and did at least 100 crunches. Nowadays, I have a 4 pack. It's soooo hard to tone up the bottom part of my stomach. I run 2-3 miles every other day, and I do crunches (about 150).
losing weight and staying in shape is all about a lifestyle change and being able to make that change. this is main determining factor if you want to get into shape.
