i didnt download the movie torrent but i bet its going to be CAM version..........i downloaded this movie somewhere else and it was the cam version and i was getting so dam frustated while watching it........i mean u can obviously tell that the person recording it has no experience what-so-ever........i've watched lots of cam stuff before but this was the worst.........that video camera went all over the place it made me so dizzy...............i mean is it THAT hard to keep the thing still?????

well anyways luckily i finally bought dvd rip version and it was much better but the subtitles were chinese and my chinese is only okay, but since i had the srt file i just added it on and half way it screwed up so i had to read the chinese (heh heh edward name is directly translated into chinese, quite interesting really)

if u cant find anyhting but the cam version tell me or seomthing, i might be able to find the dvd or tv rip

the quality seems gd but i havent tried myself

still plenty of seeders and lots of downloaders, so assumin gd

here's sumthing about the subs that sum1 posted up.......

I've been putting this up around the place. This is a fix for the timing problems seen in the video. Not perfect, I did as best as I could, but most of it is much better than before.

    READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING.

The subtitle timings must be changed to -500 milliseconds, or -half a second. I originally did that and it fixed most of the timing problems in the beginning of the movie, however I changed it back to a difference of 0 in the middle of the movie because the problems weren't so steady anymore.

Anyway, to change the timing "if you use FFDShow Video Decoder, right click on it, then a huge list will come up, then select the DirectVobSub (auto-loading version), then click on the Timing tab and change the timing for the subs.

Change the subtitle timing to -500 milliseconds at the start of the movie and change it back to 0 milliseconds at 53:40 into the movie. You MUST do this for the timing to be mostly correct through out the whole movie. Here's the link to my updated subtitle file.

I'll be watching these postings for a bit if anyone has trouble. It took me like 5+ hours to watch the movie to do all of these corrections. Some grammar/spelling mistakes were fixed. A few short lines of text were added as well(character names, one or two word phrases), only the longer unsubtitled lines remain(I can't translate those).

    its not that old...

the manga is still running i think, and it took a totally different directoin than the anime (or rather.. the anime went off on its own when it caught up to the manga)

I lovedd the FMA movie. It's DVD quality so its nice.
I liked the movie because it resolved a lot of open ends. I felt the movie fit very well and I praise Square Enix for a job well done. Ed and Al 's characters were the same pretty much in a positive way. Mustang, Armstrong, and Winry were still the same people and seeing them brought mental tears to my eyes and made me love anime again :)
