aveeno is good, i tend to put it on after i have used the benovate for even more moisture to my skin. but u have to get used to the oaty smell.. lol
is benovate a prescribed cream? well i used Avene (one of my mum's daily face things) and it's not too bad but im scared when my face is worse it wont do as well as it did today...
yea benovate is a prescribed cream i'v never used avene so I can't really comment but i have found that a mixture of benovate and aveeno really did the trick for my face. as it was REALLY bad because the cold weather. it was flaky, cracking and I was really scared that it would scar.
yup i'm using that right now! it's ok.. but when i go outside (on a hot sunny day).. skin can get all itchy and red again :( .. ==" my skin is much more better now than before.. trying to continue controlling it! now it's hayfever season for UKers!! bring out those.. nasal sprays!!! XD hahaa..
^ dun use hydrocortizone for too long coz its got steroids in it....its badd for your skin.. i think you're only supposed to use it for like a week and if still not got any better go to DR's.... but coz its getting warmer....ezcema should be calming down no..?...well mine does slightly.. and and hayfever....urgh tell me about ittt....ive had such a runny nose >.<
please throw it away, youll regret using it, ive seen what happens cus i knew a guy who used it, youll lose all pigmentation in patches of skin too, and if you get cut your skin will be to thin to heal properly so you will scar. Use ecurin 10% urea http://www.expresschemist.co.uk/Eucerin-Intensive-Treatment-Cream-100ml.html as i said, dont use steroid cream, when you come off it whatever problems will come back so you better off trying to deal with it through diet (healthy food) naturally. Haa i dont think my hayfever has bothered me yet, its almost gone, far cry from back in the day when i used to rub my eyes till i thought they were gona fall out. now i get runny nose but not so far this year.
ohh maann.. i actually bought the primrose evening oil tablet things.. had some..and then totally forgot about it =_=".. and now i cant find them!! they are somewhere in this room LOL. (the whole room is a mess.. got all my revision notes etc everywhere all over the place)... after my exams finish i'm gonna have to go find them..and buy others... euverin seems very expensive x_X can you get them in the pharmacy?? yeh i don't eat healthily enough..well i snack loads... ok.. i'll try not to use steroid cream!
i have eczema! and it's awful . my skin will always have rashes but as long as you keep yourself moisturized it should be okay. i usually use aveeno and it works really well. try to avoid smelly fragranted lotions. and i use perfume and dye free detergent. keep your living space clean!!!
tell me about it... that cream is so expensive, im used to it now so i dont recognise the high price but its worth it until you find something else you can use. concerning the primrose, im in the same situation as you, i usually got annoyed with swallowing big tabs all the time but im gona use them lol
I know that was a really old post, But I have really dry hands, and it can get extremley bad some days, I always have a tub of E45 with me, but I just want it gone. I don't really want to see a doctor.. So do you know the brand of this 'skin clear spray' I googled it, but didn't get much luck, other than a spray for horses -lol do you know where your mum got it from?
yay this thread is so useful ^^ but i agree with changing diet. and always keep ur body hydrated 8 cups of water a day~
My brother has eczema. He has tried everything under the sun and nothing really helps. He went and had an allergy test only to find that he is allergic to everything. How sad!! Some ppl say that you'll end up growing out of it, but it still hasn't happened for him.
yupp. i've had it my whole life too. since i was a baby. it's all over the place & lately its been on my face too but its getting better do you get scars from all your breakouts? cause i did && i put a lot of lotion/cream && a lot of it has disappeared just mosturize mosturize mosturize!! all the time D i hope this helpss
you sure its milk? Did your bro have a vaccination as a baby? it sounds like a bad reaction to the vaccinations, its more common than you think but some react worse than others. try 'emu oil' and if you can get hold 'colloid silver' you can possibly cure the ezcema for good but i wouldn't recommend any other besides that one as its the best and the rest go from bad to worse, but if you cant get that then the emu oil should help but ive never used emu oil myself.
