^lol.. your sig is so much larger than your post itself..

Are dry lips common where you live? Its due to the weather isnt it?

Not really common, but it could be the weather over here. It changes very quickly :(

There is always a big blank space between messages, so I thought why not make good use of it :D

haha.. your justification does not stand.. you might wanna measure the length of the blank space compared to your sig. N maybe one day you will just fill the whole page with your sig. hehe.. jking

hmm.. is there a limit to the length of our sig?

O.. I asked cos I dun think dry lips are a problem in the tropics.. the humdity level is rather high. So even if I drink little water, my lips dun crack.

^ true enough, but the changing weather thing doesn't really happen in the tropics either.

Talking about changing weather, it's almost allergy season =_=b

Hmmm ... perhaps time to start an allergy thread, like remedies for Hay feaver?

Hiake: Congrats with your 1k post :D 2k to go before VIP :D

I get prescription eyedrops every year, though they are really bad coz I can't wear contacts and use them.

But apparently Claritin is the best over the counter anti-histamine there is, with minimal side effects. And the drug supposedly do not cross the blood-brain barrier.

hmm, i also recommend vaseline =]
apply alot before u go to bed,
then in the morning, it should be less dry. and just apply a thin layer before u go out or something.

Try not to lick your lips a lot, like I do.

if u want something medicated that will soothe it try Mentholatum...it tastes horrible (but you're not eating it...i mean you're not supposed to lol) but the mint goes away after a while and it feels really good if ur lips are really chapped. it doesn't get all sticky and gross. and i think it comes in chapstick twisty things too so no worries about looking stupid when putting it on. and it also gets rid of cold sores if u feel one coming...

^ I put Mentholatum on my throat when I get the cough or stomach when I have bellyache. Never knew it can go anywhere near my oral cavity.

And I personally LOVE the smell! Minty!

    just don't eat it.
well, if you do, you won't die. but you'll never do it again.

oh and it's shiny...so for guys, just rub it into ur lips to get rid of the shine. but being a girl, it doubles as a lovely (and relatively cheap) lip gloss.

I use burt's bee and chapstick. If you have crack lips you should wash your lips w/ soap and then put on chapstick.

you know.. actually licking your lips makes it worse because there's some stuff in saliva that makes your lips even dryier. anyways. i need help too.. but i hate the stickness of chapsticks.. are there like masks i can do to my lips so i dont have to care about it during the day?
